Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Summary

Join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals at Texas Health Resources as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing complex procedures, including age-related criteria and developmental considerations. You will also be responsible for explaining procedures to patients or guardians/family members, positioning patients to correct anatomical areas of interest, and maintaining attention to detail. Additionally, you will process and manipulate images, analyze image quality, troubleshoot, and make technique adjustments or repeat procedures as needed. Responsibilities:
  • Perform complex procedures, including age-related criteria and developmental considerations
  • Explain procedures to patients or guardians/family members
  • Position patients to correct anatomical areas of interest
  • Maintain attention to detail
  • Process and manipulate images, analyze image quality, troubleshoot, and make technique adjustments or repeat procedures as needed

Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology or nuclear medicine
  • ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Nuclear Medicine Upon Hire Req
  • CNMT - Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist NMTCB Upon Hire Req
  • CMRT - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist either by the TDH or TMB Upon Hire Req
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Req
