Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist II to join our team at Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital. As a Physical Therapist II, you will be responsible for evaluating and developing the therapy plan of care for a broad range of diagnoses and acuities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients to identify their level of function and determine the treatment plan.
  • Develop and implement the physical therapy treatment plan, providing service to complex patient populations.
  • Provide education to patients, patient's family members, and/or caregivers, based on learning needs.
  • Collaborate and communicate with the healthcare team to modify the patient's treatment plan, progress, and discharge planning for achievement of identified patient specific goals.
  • Assess patients regularly, monitors progress towards treatment goals, modifies goals, and plan or program as indicated.
Requirements
  • Graduate of education program approved by the credentialing body for the required credential(s) indicated below in the Certifications, Licenses and Registrations section.
  • Two years of experience as a Physical Therapist; or completion of HM or comparable Physical Therapy Residency program.
  • BLS - Basic Life Support (AHA) AND PT - Physical Therapist - State Licensure with the Texas Board of Examiners.
