Occupational Therapist PRN Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and patient-focused PRN Occupational Therapist to join our team at Resilient Healthcare. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, recovering, or maintaining the daily living and work skills of individuals with physical, mental, or developmental conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess client needs and develop effective treatment plans to support engagement in occupations that impact health, well-being, and life quality.
- Select and adapt occupational therapy treatment models, methods, and approaches to direct interventions and maximize safety and performance in activities of daily living (ADL) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADL).
- Teach clients new ways of approaching tasks, educate them on breaking down activities into achievable components, and recommend adaptive equipment and train in its use.
- Collaborate with clients, family members, and caregivers to observe, note, and report on progress of long- and short-term treatment goals.
- Collect data and document processes followed, and regularly follow-up with clients to ensure successful outcomes.
Requirements
- Proven working experience as an occupational therapist.
- Excellent knowledge of principles and practices of occupational therapy.
- Hands-on experience with computer programs and creative media.
- Familiarity with ADLs evaluation tools (e.g., Katz ADL scale, Lawton IADL scale).
- Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities.
- Current knowledge of treatment practices per discipline and drive to continually learn and grow in the profession.
- Professional behavior and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Valid and current Texas OT license and current BLS/CPR certification.
- BS degree or greater in occupational therapy.
