Job Title: Human Resources Manager

Bally's Corporation is a leading entertainment company seeking a skilled Human Resources Manager to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for supervising and managing HR staff, developing and implementing operational goals, and monitoring performance and profit objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee HR operations and staff for Bally's Black Hawk and provide support for Arapahoe Park and Havana Park.
  • Develop and implement operational goals and monitor achievements of performance and profit objectives.
  • Provide HR support to team members at all levels of the organization.
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with assigned departments to achieve business-focused results.
  • Assist in developing strategies for turnover, recruitment, staff development, engagement, employee relations, guest service, compensation, benefits, and performance management.
  • Oversee the effective administration of risk and safety programs, including safety committees, return-to-work programs, casualty claims, and workers' compensation claims.
  • Assist with developing departmental budgets and maintaining monthly P&L costs, budget reconciliations, P&L reviews, and approving departmental purchasing.
  • Manage internal and external recruitment efforts, including managing open job requisitions, pre-screening candidates, and building talent pools.
  • Analyze property trends and metrics relative to engagement, turnover, staff development, and develop solutions, programs, and policies as necessary.
  • Manage and resolve employee and labor relations issues, including conducting thorough and objective investigations.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day employee management, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Provide performance management guidance and counseling to client groups and their teams to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Maintain current knowledge of HR policies, programs, laws, and regulations.
  • Develop reports and key metrics, including the monthly HR Scorecard, Strategic Plan, and other identified HR analytics.
  • Provide superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources management or a related field from a four-year college or university.
  • Five or more years of human resources experience, with a minimum of three years at the leadership level.
  • Proven experience in dealing with employee relations, talent acquisition, compensation, engagement, and team member development.
  • PHR or SPHR professional certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of OSHA industry safety standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
  • Working knowledge of UltiPro (UKG) a plus.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to interact with guests, staff, and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
