About the Role

Atrium Health Charlotte is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist Level II to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Job Summary:

As a Surgical Technologist Level II, you will play a vital role in providing patient care in the surgical suite while maintaining a safe work environment. You will assist in preparing patients, assembling supplies and instruments, and ensuring the sterile field is maintained throughout the procedure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in obtaining and organizing supplies and instruments prior to, during, and after surgical procedures.
  • Monitor surgical supplies for sterility and ensure they are used in a judicious manner.
  • Document and submit charges accurately and appropriately.
  • Participate in educational opportunities to increase competency and meet personal needs and goals.
  • Assist in the development of policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Serve as a preceptor and clinical resource to others.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of surgical technology or successful completion of military training program for Surgical Technology or Operating Room Specialist.
  • 5 years of operating room experience in surgical technologist role required.
  • Current certification required.
