Job Summary

The University at Buffalo is seeking a Visual Storyteller to join our Athletics department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating engaging visual content to promote our football program.

About the Role

This role requires a highly skilled and experienced individual who can develop, produce, and distribute high-quality video and graphic content. You will work closely with our coaching staff, football support staff, and student interns to ensure seamless production and distribution of all multimedia content.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and produce marketing materials, including graphics, videos, and social media posts.
  • Create engaging image spots, brand commercials, and game-specific promotional content.
  • Oversee the development and production of video board graphics, infographics, and press conference reels.
  • Manage and supervise student interns to assist with production tasks.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Communications, Marketing, or Fine Arts).
  • Proven experience in video/photo editing, graphic design, and social media management.
  • Expertise in post-production workflow using Adobe Creative Cloud, including After Effects, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and Illustrator.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required.
Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience working with football video/photo editing, graphic design, and social media would be an asset.

Salary Information

The salary range for this position is $49,261. The actual salary may vary based on qualifications and experience.
