Electrical Engineer Opportunity at Leidos

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at Leidos in San Diego, CA. As an Electrical Engineer, you will apply your circuit design expertise to support the full PCB development and validation process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply circuit design expertise to support the full PCB development and validation process
  • Collaborate on large, complex projects as part of an intradisciplinary team of engineers and scientists
  • Work independently to perform engineering-related tasking where requirements can be uncertain and evolving
  • Carry out methodical technical troubleshooting and diagnosis of failed equipment in support of root cause analysis
  • Develop test plans, execute validation and testing procedures, perform data analysis, and write technical reports

Basic Qualifications:

  • B.S. degree or higher in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related field from an accredited college/university
  • 4+ years of relevant experience as an electrical engineer in an R&D environment
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated leadership of small technical teams and projects
  • Breadth of experience in a complementary discipline like SWaP optimization, FPGA design, or embedded software
  • Programming experience in C/C++, Java, Visual Basic, Python, or MATLAB
