Control Systems Automation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled individual to oversee the design, engineering, factory acceptance testing, and field commissioning of electrical control systems that support extensive production machinery.

Software Development
  • Design and create software applications based on specified requirements and guidelines utilizing designated software tools.
  • Develop specifications derived from client needs for control architecture.
  • Review and modify existing legacy code as necessary.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues within current systems.
  • Prepare comprehensive technical documentation including Software Management Plans, Test Plans, User Manuals, Troubleshooting Guides, and Spare Parts Lists.
  • Engage in requirement assessments to ensure accurate feature implementation.
Electrical Engineering
  • Revise electrical designs in the field and update them in AutoCAD Electrical.
  • Investigate supplier products for assembly components.
  • Establish and uphold electrical standards.
  • Power up electrical systems and configure hardware according to application specifications.
  • Possess knowledge of relevant Codes and Standards as well as power distribution.
  • Verify the quality of work and address inquiries during assembly processes.
General Responsibilities
  • Review specifications and adhere to standard practices.
  • Follow company safety protocols and comply with industry health and safety regulations.
  • Provide regular status updates on projects.
  • Maintain quality standards within a regulated environment.
  • Occasionally travel to client locations as required.
  • Participate in quality enhancement initiatives.
  • Complete additional assigned tasks as necessary.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred or equivalent technical training.
  • Experience in the industrial automation or machinery manufacturing sector is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with PLCs, HMI systems, Motion Controllers, Actuators, Sensors, and VFDs.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting control system challenges.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
