Position Overview

South College is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our Nursing Department as adjunct clinical instructors. Our institution is committed to fostering the growth and development of our students, ensuring they are well-prepared for their future careers in healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidates will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing clinical experiences that enable students to meet course objectives effectively.
  • Assisting in the development of course syllabi that encompass all necessary information as per South College standards, ensuring clarity in evaluation expectations.
  • Completing all academic program requirements and documentation for each student in a timely manner.
  • Submitting accurate attendance and academic participation records as required by the institution.
  • Providing an official grade sheet at the conclusion of each academic term for all courses taught.
  • Collaborating with the course coordinator regarding clinical skills practice.
  • Being accessible to students for inquiries and support.
Qualifications

Minimum qualifications include:

  • A Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) is preferred; however, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) with substantial clinical experience may be considered.
  • Experience in secondary education is preferred.

Candidates must be willing to work at various clinical sites as needed.
