Salary and BenefitsThe salary for this position ranges from $48,290 to $96,520 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision coverage as well as other perks.
Responsibilities- Provide specialized care for patients with medium to high acuity needs, closely monitoring vital signs, IV drips, and other key indicators.
- Administer medications and implement complex treatment plans, ensuring that medical orders are carried out accurately and promptly.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on the management of their acute or chronic conditions, including the proper use of equipment like BiPap/CPAP/Home Oxygen and vital sign or blood sugar monitors.
- Maintain timely and accurate patient records, adhering to hospital and departmental policies and regulations.
- Associate's Degree (ADN) or above in nursing.
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license.
- 1 year experience in stepdown/progressive, neurology, cardiac, or another medium to high acuity setting preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association.
- Strong skills in hemodynamic monitoring, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and other advanced nursing care practices.
- Proficient in electronic medical record systems.
