Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Critical Care Nurse Specialist to join our team at Incredible Health. As a PACU RN, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals who share your passion for delivering high-quality patient care. As a Critical Care Nurse Specialist, you will have the chance to develop your skills and expertise in a variety of areas, including cardiac monitoring, circulate, pediatric, presurgical assessment, robotic surgery, transplant, and wound & drain care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide immediate post-operative care to a variety of surgical patients, monitoring vital signs and managing symptoms of anesthesia.
  • Administer prescribed medications and implement treatment plans as directed by medical staff.
  • Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure seamless patient transition from the operating room to the PACU to discharge home.
  • Educate patients and their families on post-operative care, including pain management, wound care, and potential complications.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree (ADN) or above in nursing.
  • Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license.
  • 1 year experience in a PACU, ICU, or a similar high-acuity setting preferred.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Proficient in electronic medical record systems.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is $48,290 to $96,520 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
