Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Security Compliance Analyst to join our team at the University of California, San Francisco. As a key member of our School of Medicine Technology Services group, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and compliance of our research data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply industry best practices and regulatory requirements to ensure the security and compliance of research data
  • Collaborate with faculty, researchers, and staff to provide guidance on cybersecurity requirements and best practices
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures for cybersecurity risk management
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest cybersecurity threats and technologies to provide expert guidance to our research community

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in data security compliance, risk management, or a related field
  • Experience with fundamental cybersecurity concepts and common frameworks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
