Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing Operations to join our team at Heardmont Nursing Home and Rehab. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of nursing operations within our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Provide strategic leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including training and professional development opportunities.
  • Operational Oversight: Assist the Director of Nursing to oversee and manage all aspects of nursing operations, including policy development and implementation.
  • Quality Improvement: Monitor and evaluate the quality of nursing services provided, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of patient care, and serve as a liaison between nursing staff, physicians, and administration.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with Medicare regulations and other relevant laws and standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Minimum Associate's degree in nursing.
  • License: Valid nursing license in the state of employment.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in nursing leadership roles, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of Medicare regulations and compliance requirements, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proven ability to lead and motivate a team of nursing professionals.
