Position Overview

The role involves executing standard assembly tasks of a repetitive nature on mechanical and/or electronic components and sub-assemblies within the product line.

Key Responsibilities

This position requires working from samples, bills of materials, schematics, and work instructions, as well as verbal directives. Various hand and power tools will be utilized to complete the tasks.

  • Assemble devices (mechanical and/or electronic) to create a complete unit or subassembly at the designated location, including programming transmitters and utilizing laser technology.
  • Fabricate sub-components as necessary using a variety of tools and machinery.
  • Conduct visual inspections and functional testing throughout the assembly process.
  • Perform calibration for devices as required.
  • Maintain precise inventory records and inform the team lead of any adjustments or scrap.
Qualifications

To excel in this role, an individual must be capable of completing each essential duty satisfactorily. The following requirements are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities needed:

  • Demonstrates commitment to assigned work and possesses self-motivation.
  • Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and operating machinery.
  • Effective communication skills in reading, writing, and speaking.
  • Ability to read and understand simple instructions, bills of material, brief correspondence, and memos.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Fundamental math skills, including addition, subtraction, units of measurement, and unit conversion.
  • Capability to read basic blueprints and operate various hand and power tools.
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
