As a Billing Specialist, you will serve as a crucial link between billing operations and management, taking charge of various billing responsibilities.

This role will report to the Accounts Receivable Supervisor and operates in a hybrid work environment, typically requiring 2-3 days in the office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely generation of client invoices.
  • Review and authorize invoices, making necessary adjustments.
  • Coordinate weekly accountability reports with City Representatives and Sales teams.
  • Upload billing files into the accounting system.
  • Guarantee the prompt closing of monthly and quarterly billing cycles and reporting.
  • Collaborate with customer service and collections teams to implement necessary changes.
  • Distribute invoices to clients.
  • Perform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in billing or accounting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and MS Dynamics.
  • Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Creative problem-solving skills with a flexible and resourceful mindset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities; capable of conveying information and addressing inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Outstanding time management and organizational skills, with the ability to adapt swiftly to a dynamic work environment.
