Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Monitor Plant Facilities: Ensure the smooth operation of our aggregates plant facilities, including the monitoring of equipment and processes.
  • Routine Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plant equipment, including tightening fittings, oiling, and lubricating equipment, replacing bearings, gaskets, and other components.
  • Plant Improvement Projects: Collaborate with our team to identify and implement improvements to our plant operations and processes.
  • Inspect and Maintain Equipment: Inspect and maintain crushers, conveyors, screens, and other equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate records of plant operations and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Equipment Servicing and Maintenance: Perform servicing and maintenance of equipment as trained and directed by management.
  • Operational Excellence: Demonstrate a high degree of competency, skill, and proficiency in operating equipment and tools.
  • Teamwork and Safety: Work collaboratively with our team to ensure a safe working environment and adhere to all company policies and OSHA/MSHA/environmental regulations.
Requirements
  • Safe Work Practices: Demonstrate a commitment to safe work practices at all times.
  • Maintenance Experience: Previous maintenance experience is required.
  • Welding and Cutting: Experience with welding and cutting is preferred.
  • Mechanical Aptitude: Possess a strong mechanical aptitude and ability to diagnose and perform plant repairs as needed.
  • Asphalt Plant Utilities and Equipment: Have a working knowledge of asphalt plant utilities and equipment, including crushers, conveyors, scales, etc.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Be willing to work overtime and weekends as needed and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Team Player: Demonstrate a team player attitude and be willing to work collaboratively with our team.
  • Pre-Employment Screening: Pass a pre-employment drug screening.
