The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of experience in accounting, preferably with a degree in accounting or a related field. Strong skills in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office 365, Excel, and Word are essential. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and executing all day-to-day accounting functions, including account reconciliations, cash flow management, and oversight of system input from the administrative team.
The Accounting Manager will also be responsible for preparing monthly financial statements, communicating with customers and vendors on escalated issues, and reviewing and improving daily processes and tasks to expedite and improve workflow. Additionally, the candidate will provide training to new and existing staff as needed and support the CFO with special projects and miscellaneous duties.
Benefits of this part-time position include a competitive hourly rate of $23-$25, a 4-day workweek (Tuesday-Friday), 8 paid holidays per year, and an earned paid time off program.
