Job Description

Gardner Center, LLC is seeking a skilled Accounting Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for preparing and examining financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Obtain primary financial data for accounting records, including invoices, receipts, and bank statements.
  • Compute and record numerical data, such as financial ratios and trends.
  • Verify the accuracy of business transactions, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Perform data entry and administrative duties, such as maintaining financial databases and generating reports.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in accounting, finance, or a related field, preferably with a focus on financial analysis and reporting.
  • Fundamental knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial regulations.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask, with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and other financial software, with experience in Yardi Breeze software a plus.
