Job Summary:

FUTURERECRUIT is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Educational Psychologist to join our team. As a key member of our Special Education department, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive support services to students with diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and Intervention: Develop and implement assessment plans for students on your caseload, providing formal IEP and 504 assessments as needed.
  • Counseling Services: Provide ERMHS counseling as stipulated on IEPs, ensuring students receive the support they need to succeed.
  • Site Caseload Oversight: Provide site caseload oversight, supporting the development and completion of IEPs.
  • IEP Meetings: Set up and act as LEA for IEP meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Professional Development: Attend training as requested, staying up-to-date on best practices and industry developments.
  • Collaboration and Support: Collaborate and provide support to other SPED and GE staff, fostering a positive and inclusive school environment.
  • Group Work: Provide lunch bunch, SEL, or social skills groups or lessons, promoting social-emotional learning and student success.

Requirements:

  • Current California PPS license
  • CLAD and AAS authorizations
  • Valid driver's license and own transportation
  • 2-3 years of current school district teaching experience
  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • Experience with preschool through 5th grade
