The Housekeeping Rooms Inspector is a key member of our hotel's housekeeping team, responsible for ensuring that our guestrooms and public areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect guestrooms and public areas to ensure they meet Omni four-star/four-diamond standards
  • Assign special projects to Guest Room Attendants as directed by the Director of Housekeeping
  • Report any needed repairs or discrepancies in guestrooms
  • Ensure Guest Room Attendants have adequate supplies and linens
  • Assist with cleaning guestrooms as needed
  • Process AM and PM room status reports
  • Ensure Guest Room Attendants' linen carts are neat and organized
  • Ensure linen closets on guestroom floors are fully stocked
  • Maintain supply cage stock in a neat and clean condition
  • Punch in guestrooms via phone after completion
  • Inspect VIP rooms promptly
  • Prioritize check-out/vacated rooms
  • Have knowledge of hotel facilities and events
  • Ensure a safe and secure environment for hotel guests and associates

Requirements:

  • Ability to maintain 4-Diamond level cleanliness standards
  • Ability to work with management on special projects
  • Strong attention to detail with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
  • Ability to push or pull a minimum of 75 pounds
  • Ability to communicate effectively via radio and phone
