As part of our Advanced Controller Development (ACD) team, you will play a crucial role in addressing the challenges faced by Cloud and Data Center technologies by pioneering advancements in storage controller technology.
Key Responsibilities:In this role, you will:
- Define the hardware architecture and design specifications for memory controllers in collaboration with system and firmware teams.
- Analyze trade-offs in memory controller features related to system performance, area, and power consumption.
- Engage in logic design and RTL implementation, ensuring quality through rigorous checks (Assertion, Lint, CDC, and STA).
- Work closely with design verification teams to achieve functional coverage goals.
- Collaborate with physical design teams on timing constraints, synthesis, DFT insertion, and static timing analysis.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with a minimum of 10 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 8 years of experience, or a PhD with 5 years of industry experience.
- Proven experience in designing microarchitectures for SoCs.
- Expertise in writing microarchitecture specifications and RTL code.
- Familiarity with ASIC design flows and DRAM interfaces.
- In-depth knowledge of high-frequency clock distribution design and analysis.
- A strong understanding of performance, power, and area (PPA) trade-offs.
- A track record of successful complex logic designs and timing closure on sophisticated projects.
- Experience with flash memory controller architecture and related IP design processes.
- Knowledge of storage technologies, particularly in the context of data center products.
