Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated Youth Engagement Coordinator Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will work onsite at Foster High School in Tukwila, focusing on re-engaging students through ABC-focused attendance, behavior, and coursework.

This role involves connecting scholars and families to necessary services and providing activities and projects to build self-confidence, cultural identities, histories, and youth leadership. You will collaborate with schools to establish strength-based wraparound services that support scholars' success in the school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement programs to increase student engagement and academic achievement
  • Build relationships with scholars, families, and community partners to provide comprehensive support services
  • Collaborate with schools to establish and maintain strong partnerships
  • Provide guidance and support to scholars in their educational and career goals

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience working with opportunity or at-risk youth
  • Knowledge of the Seattle Public School system
  • Ability to work with diverse populations (language, culture, race, physical ability, sexual orientation, etc.)
  • Proven ability to build relationships and trust quickly
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
