Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and results-driven individual to collaborate with our team in developing insurance risk management profiles and identifying new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a passion for helping others, and a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Insurance Risk Management: Collaborate with policyholders to develop comprehensive insurance risk management profiles that meet their evolving insurance needs.
  • Insurance Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on various types of insurance, insurance-related protocols, and policy changes to ensure fulfillment of program requirements and customer satisfaction.
  • Client Communication: Serve as an attentive listener when communicating with new and potential clients to accurately identify their unique needs prior to pursuing specific insurance sales.
  • Business Development: Pursue new clients through various marketing strategies to grow your existing portfolio of policyholders.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of sales databases, client reports, bookkeeping records, and other relevant information to share progress with key stakeholders.
  • Contracting and Administration: Ensure all contracting paperwork is up-to-date and maintain databases, records, and bookkeeping.
  • Customer Service: Address existing and prospective customer requests in a prompt and friendly manner, including booking new meetings and responding to inquiries regarding billing, eligibility, coverage, claims, and insurance policies.
  • New Business Development: Identify new client insurance needs, insurance risks, goals, current coverage, and financial situation by scheduling meetings for new customers and ensuring a personalized experience.
  • Claims Processing: Process current policyholders' insurance claims while monitoring the status of existing insurance claims.
Qualifications
  • Self-Motivation and Hard Work: Demonstrate a strong work ethic and self-motivation to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Industry Experience: Background in the health insurance or life insurance industries is preferred, but not required.
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite is required.
  • Previous Experience: Previous customer service or sales experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Insurance License: An active Life & Health insurance license is a strong bonus, but not required.
