Morada Senior Living is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Culinary Services - Fine Dining to lead our culinary team and deliver exceptional dining experiences for our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement food services policies, procedures, and job descriptions to ensure high-quality dining experiences.
  • Plan and execute menus that cater to cultural and regional food preferences, as well as resident dietary guidelines.
  • Monitor the quality and consistency of food, including temperature, portion control, palatability, and attractiveness.
  • Lead and train culinary staff to ensure they meet established standards.
  • Order food and chemical supplies, receive and validate deliveries, and conduct regular inventory.
  • Conduct quality assurance audits and implement changes to ensure compliance with established standards.
  • Practice safe and sanitary food handling and adhere to all safety and loss prevention procedures.
  • Negotiate and sign food service agreements with vendors.
  • Select, schedule, and conduct orientation and in-service educational programs for personnel.
  • Monitor monthly expenditures and ensure compliance with budget.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in culinary arts or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of management experience in a food service environment.
  • Successful completion of food safety training.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Leadership skills, including the ability to inspire and motivate others.
