Position Overview:

Role: Hospitality Service Representative

Welcome, register, and assist guests in a warm and professional manner, adhering to the hotel's and brand's standards of service and sustainability.

Career Advancement Opportunities:

Progression to Front Desk Supervisor or Sales Coordinator, leading to roles such as Front Office Manager or Sales Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promptly greet guests and offer assistance with their needs.
  • Register guests and allocate hotel accommodations.
  • Establish payment methods and confirm credit details.
  • Handle reservations and confirmations efficiently.
  • Calculate bills, process payments, and provide change as necessary.
  • Manage communication through telephones or the Property Management System (PMS).
  • Address guest inquiries and requests promptly.
  • Resolve guest complaints, escalating to management when required.
  • Safeguard guests' valuables in the hotel safe or secure storage.
  • Conduct bookkeeping tasks, including account balancing and audits.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction metrics and strive to enhance overall satisfaction.
  • Adhere to sustainability practices in line with the company's environmental initiatives.
  • Maintain safe working practices, utilizing protective equipment and following safety standards.
  • Assist in breakfast service or help guests with luggage during busy periods.
  • Ensure a high level of guest satisfaction.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior experience in customer service or relevant training is essential.
  • Familiarity with Property Management Systems is advantageous.

Work Environment:

  • Work hours may vary, including weekends and holidays.
  • Physical requirements include standing for long periods, walking, lifting up to 25 pounds, and performing bending and reaching tasks.
