Respiratory Therapist

UCHealth is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Greeley, Colorado. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and delivering ordered therapy per plan of care. You will monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate, and evaluate respiratory care policies and procedures based on patient outcomes, current research, and best practices.
Responsibilities- Deliver and assess response to ordered therapy per plan of care.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
- Evaluate respiratory care policies and procedures based on patient outcomes, current research, and best practices.
- Respond to codes and calls for emergent assistance.
- Educate the patient and family about the patient's illness and provide information about community resources.
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
- Certified as a Respiratory Therapist (CRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). For those hired 12/1/21 and after, Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) within 2 years of hire. State licensure if required by law. Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider. ACLS Healthcare Provider Certification within one year of hire.
