Job Opportunity: Assistant Station Manager

About Grant Aviation, Inc.

We are a regional air carrier serving rural Alaska since 1971. Our operations include scheduled air transport of passengers, cargo, and mail, as well as air ambulance and charter service. We employ approximately 360 people and believe that air travel is a necessity, not a luxury.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of aircraft dispatch, US Mail processing, passenger reservations, check-in, manifests, and billing requirements.
  • Managing employee life cycle, onboarding, offboarding, and retention.
  • Base supply ordering, receiving, and stock management.
  • Safety reporting and ensuring safe operations of all station aspects.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in management and customer service.
  • Familiarity with equipment operations in remote locations.
  • Knowledge of logistics and/or flight operations.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to pass a 10-year background check and work in the US.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is $70,000 annually, considering the company's structure and the location in Bethel, AK. We offer competitive pay, medical, dental, and vision benefits, company-paid life insurance, AD&D, PTO, paid holidays, flight benefits, and a 401(k) program.
