**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Physical Therapy Specialist to join our team at Next Move Healthcare. This role will involve delivering comprehensive physical therapy services to patients in various settings, including hospital outpatient clinics, inpatient units, and community outreach programs.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a master's degree in physical therapy from an accredited program and current licensure as a Physical Therapist in Alaska. Prior hospital-based experience is beneficial, and proficiency in reading, analyzing, and interpreting medical documents is essential. Strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and mathematical skills are also required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver full-time physical therapy services, managing a varied caseload involving orthopedic, neurologic, vestibular, and wound care needs.
  • Work across multiple settings, including hospital outpatient clinics, inpatient units, home health, and during village travels, ensuring comprehensive community healthcare delivery.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide integrated and effective care, participating in interdisciplinary team meetings and community health planning.
  • Provide culturally respectful care and effectively communicate with a diverse patient population, including those who may not speak English as their first language.
