  1. Ticketing Process:
  • Commence the ticketing of merchandise by generating price tickets.
  • Apply appropriate price tickets and UPC labels to various items, ensuring compliance with specific wholesale store requirements.
  • Organize merchandise by style, color, and size after ticketing.
  • Store items on shelves according to designated locations within the warehouse.
  1. Packing and Shipping:
  • Prepare cardboard boxes based on the required size for packaging.
  • Review packing slips to locate and retrieve products and supplies from shelves.
  • Interpret customer orders, work orders, and shipping orders to determine necessary items for movement or distribution.
  • Utilize computer systems to process packing slips.
  • Package, count, and prepare boxes for shipment.
  • Execute the UPS/FedEx shipping process, including label generation and sorting by location and shipping priority.
  1. Receiving Duties:
  • Unload products and supplies from delivery vehicles as they arrive.
  • Open boxes and assign products to their designated locations.
  • Sort and organize materials according to predetermined criteria such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
  • Document quantities of materials received or distributed using the appropriate software.
  1. Support to Warehouse Management:
  • Maintain general cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, including sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste.
  • Ensure the warehouse environment is safe and accessible for all personnel and visitors.
  • Assist in inventory counts as required.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED, with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a general warehouse or distribution center.
  • Familiarity with various warehouse equipment.
  • Ability to understand and adhere to safety protocols in a warehouse setting.
