Electric Overhead Crane & Hoist Technician:

Job Overview:


The Electric Overhead Crane Technician will be responsible for performing inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and modifications on electric overhead cranes and associated material handling systems. This role involves both in-house work and travel to various production sites.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
1-2 years of experience as a crane service technician or in a related technical field (electrical, mechanical, etc.).

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.

Capability to acquire mechanical, electrical, and industrial skills.

Willingness to travel and work in production settings, with potential overnight travel.

Proficient in using company-issued mobile devices and computers.

Ability to complete electronic documentation promptly.

Flexibility to work extended hours and on holidays as necessary.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to stand or walk for 95% of the workday.

Lift and carry up to 40-50 pounds without assistance.

Frequent squatting, twisting, reaching, climbing, and bending.

Ability to push or pull materials with equipment support.

Good hand/eye coordination and bilateral dexterity (both gross and fine motor skills).

Depth perception and peripheral vision are essential.

Ability to hear effectively.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Regularly working at significant heights.

Exposure to varying temperature conditions.
