Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Director of Operations to lead our tissue manufacturing facility in Lock Haven, PA. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring the highest quality products, and driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safety and Compliance
    • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
    • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Production and Quality
    • Oversee the production process to ensure timely and efficient delivery of high-quality products.
    • Implement quality control measures to ensure products meet customer requirements.
  • Operations and Maintenance
    • Manage the maintenance and repair of equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance.
    • Develop and implement operational best practices to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in operations management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering required, MBA desired.
  • Extensive experience in tissue manufacturing, warehouse management, and quality control.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop teams, with a strong focus on safety and quality.
  • Lean manufacturing knowledge and experience with continuous improvement programs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and analyze financial and operating statements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
