About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hematology Registered Nurse to join our team at Emory Healthcare. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our clinical programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Safe and Effective Care: Utilize the nursing process to provide safe, dependable, and effective care to patients with hematological conditions.
  • Apply the Synergy Model: Personalize care for each patient/family by applying the Synergy Model for Care in practice.
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively and respectfully with patients, families, and other members of the healthcare team.
  • Document Patient Care: Accurately document the nursing process in the appropriate format.
  • Evaluate Patient Response: Evaluate patient response to planned care and adjust the plan of care as necessary.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with 12 months of recent nursing experience within the past five years or recent completion of a re-entry nursing program.
  • Licensure and Certification: Must have a valid, active unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board. BLS certification required and ACLS may be required in designated departments.
