Job Title: Enterprise Data Engineer

At Esri, we are seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Professional Services division, you will work closely with customers and partners to design and implement enterprise database solutions that meet their business needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement enterprise database architectures that support business requirements
  • Develop and maintain geospatial databases using Esri technology
  • Collaborate with software development teams to improve Esri capabilities and customer experience
  • Present complex technical demonstrations to various levels of staff in customer organizations
  • Use consulting skills to support teams during all phases of implementation
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of professional experience in database architecture and administration
  • Demonstrated experience with database design, data loading techniques, physical storage, backup/recovery strategies, and data retention solutions
  • Demonstrated experience with geoprocessing tools, tasks, and ModelBuilder
  • Programming and scripting experience with Python and SQL
  • Familiarity with performance assessment and tuning techniques
  • Familiarity with geospatial and mapping concepts
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of GIS integration with other enterprise systems
  • One or more industry-standard IT certifications

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $93,600-$187,200 USD.
