Main Responsibilities

The Child Protection Team Manager will be responsible for

  1. Effective service delivery and resource management
  2. Managing cases awaiting allocation and leading small teams of practitioners
  3. Formal delegation to endorse and review case plans to ensure the safety, stability, and development of children and young people
Key Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess

  • An understanding of Aboriginal culture
  • Demonstrated understanding of legislative, policy, and practice requirements relating to Aboriginal children, families, and communities
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams

The Multidisciplinary Centre (MDC) enables a specialist response to sexual offences and child sexual abuse from a single location.
