Job Summary

RDSI is seeking a highly skilled Electronics Engineer to join our team in North Kingstown, RI. As a key member of our team, you will provide technical expertise to support the development of advanced electronic systems for submarine torpedo operation.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze and design PCB layouts to meet military standards and requirements for new and existing lighting products.
  • Provide technical support for the development of and improvement of torpedo technology, concepts, and solutions.
  • Interface with Government and Navy representatives to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Perform system integration tasks and ensure high-quality results.
Requirements
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in submarine and torpedo subject matter.
  • Ability to read and comprehend wiring diagrams and schematics.
  • General knowledge of torpedo system operation, hardware, and software.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interact with high-level fleet personnel.
Qualifications
  • Minimum BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • General knowledge of SSN and SSBN communication systems and operation.
