Job Summary

RDSI is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electronics Engineer to join our team in North Kingstown, RI. The successful candidate will provide technical expertise in the design, development, and testing of electronic systems for submarine torpedo operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and design PCB layouts to meet military standards and requirements for new and existing lighting products.
  • Provide technical support for the development of and improvement of torpedo technology, concepts, and solutions.
  • Interface with Government and Navy representatives to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in submarine and torpedo subject matter.
  • Able to read and comprehend wiring diagrams and schematics.
  • General knowledge of torpedo system operation, hardware, and software.
  • Able to interact with high-level fleet personnel and perform system integration tasks.
Qualifications
  • Minimum BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills and general knowledge of SSN and SSBN communication systems and operation.
