Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diesel/Road Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with railroad, safety, and federal regulations. Your expertise in troubleshooting and repairing heavy equipment components will be essential in maintaining our fleet of locomotives and railcars.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex equipment components, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as inspections and repairs, to ensure the safe operation of our equipment.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to resolve work-related problems and improve efficiency.
  • Drive heavy-duty service trucks and operate specialized equipment, such as cranes and forklifts.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in a related field preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a CMV or CDL.
  • Excellent communication and mechanical aptitude skills.
  • Ability to read and understand technical manuals and schematics.
