Key ResponsibilitiesManagement
  • Manage day-to-day activities of campus area cafes in accordance with established policies, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Work in concert with General Managers to implement the Company's strategy and promote the success of LLCC's products and offerings.
  • Participate in the development and execution of plans and policies for the company.
  • Ensure that approved operation policies and objectives are clearly understood and effectively applied within the company.
  • Manage effective organization with appropriate infrastructure, systems, programs, and methods to achieve growth objectives.
Financial
  • Assist in preparing sales plans and sales budgets based on broad company goals and growth objectives.
  • Review sales results of the Company, compare them to established objectives, and take steps to ensure that appropriate measures are taken to meet or exceed expectations.
  • Assist in implementing methods to minimize costs and improve efficiency of operations and quality of products.
  • Work directly with General Managers to ensure budget efficiency and that budget goals are achieved.
  • Initiate corrective action related to profit and loss factors affecting financial results.
Customer Focus
  • Teach, practice, and preach sustained excellence and exceptional customer experience across all departments.
  • Maintain a strong commitment to the customer and provide extraordinary service with the highest level of care and respect.
  • Work directly with General Managers to deploy practices for speed of service and organize employees to maintain the most efficient floor plan and deployment for serving customers.
  • Interface with all departments to preserve and enhance the image of the company as a competent retailer of quality goods and products.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and requests to ensure customer satisfaction.
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Assist in the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the staff in a manner that creates harmony within the workforce and promotes an attitude that will ensure successful results.
  • Directly supervise the General Managers in the campus area.
  • Review progress with the management team on a regular basis.
  • Work closely with the management team to assess present and future needs, trends, problems, and opportunities for the cafe and bakery operation within the company.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the management team, working collaboratively with team members to establish performance expectations necessary to achieve success.
