Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Experience Attendant. As a key member of our front-end team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers, and maintaining a clean and safe store environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, answering questions and providing assistance as needed.
• Retrieve and return shopping carts, ensuring they are not left in parking areas and are taken from the cart corral to the front porch of the store for customer use.
• Load groceries into vehicles for customers, providing a convenient and efficient service.
• Maintain the parking lot, store vestibule, and front-end areas, keeping them clean and free of debris.
• Assist cashiers by bagging groceries as required, responding promptly to intercom pages, and performing general clean-up work.
• Clean restrooms and break rooms, replenish supplies, dispose of waste, and keep the building and surrounding grounds in orderly condition.
• Operate motor-driven equipment for cleaning, maintaining equipment in good repair, and ensuring a safe working environment.
• Help keep the sales floor free of slip and trip hazards, clearing sidewalks and porches of snow and ice as needed.
• Notify store management of any repairs or maintenance needed, or when observing unsafe conditions that require attention.
• Ensure smooth function of the department and store by cooperating with coworkers and supervisors, continuously improving job performance, and completing other duties as required by management.

Requirements

To perform this job successfully, the associate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required:

• Education and/or experience completed or working towards a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• No prior experience required.
