POSITION SCOPE AND ORGANIZATIONAL IMPACT

Moss' VDC Field Technicians play a crucial role in verifying and tracking construction projects by collecting as-built data. This physically demanding job requires lifting equipment up to 50lbs and walking job sites, often without vertical transportation. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory, including hard hats, safety glasses, footwear, and vests.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Capture 360° photos of construction sites using photogrammetry software
  • Perform terrestrial LiDAR scans of entire sites or specific areas
  • Travel to multiple construction sites in South Florida daily or weekly
  • Ability to work in high elevation up to 1,000 ft
  • Interpret architectural drawings, details, and specifications
  • Travel by car to various job sites around South Florida
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • In pursuit of a bachelor's program in engineering or Construction Management
  • Ability to learn and interact with new hardware/software
  • Verbal communication skills and attention to detail
  • Strong working knowledge of job site safety
