Job Overview

As a Fire Sprinkler System Installer at Johnson Controls International, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our customers' properties. We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team and contribute to the installation, service, and repair of fire protection systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, service, and repair fire protection systems, including wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and foam suppression systems, as well as fire pumps and back flow devices.
  • Execute the installation project plan, including equipment delivery, accurately forecasting installation hours, anticipating potential challenges, and properly securing all Johnson Controls Fire Protection/Grinnell tools and equipment at the end of each work period.
  • Work collaboratively with the construction manager to resolve problems and ensure successful installation activities.
  • Maintain proper documentation for all work performed and review project drawings to obtain all facts necessary to perform installation activities according to specifications.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures and be able to work alternative shifts or weekends to meet customer and/or job requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years documented experience in installation and service of fire sprinkler systems.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, perform physical labor, and work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions.
  • Excellent communication skills, using tact and diplomacy when dealing with customers and team members.
  • Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and ability to learn quickly.
