Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Avamere Cascadia Village. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our resident apartments and common areas.

Responsibilities
  • Order and monitor all supplies to ensure a well-stocked inventory
  • Clean and sanitize sinks, showers, toilets, and other fixtures to maintain a high level of hygiene
  • Stock soap and paper products in bathrooms to ensure residents have access to essential items
  • Clean and dust surfaces, including glass and mirrors, to maintain a clean and welcoming environment
  • Vacuum carpet, sweep, and mop floors to keep our spaces clean and tidy
  • Deep clean resident apartments and care areas to ensure a high level of cleanliness and organization
  • Sort, wash, and dry resident laundry according to building policy
  • Fold, hang, and put away resident laundry according to guidelines
  • Clean and maintain all equipment, including soiled and clean linen areas
  • Assist with housekeeping duties as needed to ensure a smooth operation
  • Maintain infection control procedures to ensure a safe and healthy environment for residents and staff
  • Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
  • Experience interacting with residents of this nature
  • Ability to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination preferred, but not required
