Job Summary

As a Medication Technician at Avamere Cascadia, you will play a vital role in providing daily health services and medication needs to our residents. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications as ordered by the attending physician, following current policies and procedures.
  • Provide care and support to residents, assisting with daily living activities and updating service plans.
  • Respond promptly to resident calls and emergencies, providing first aid assistance as needed.
  • Document and communicate resident changes, completing reports in a timely manner.
  • Maintain confidentiality of resident care in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
Qualifications
  • High-School diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • First Aid & CPR Certification (obtainable within 30 days of employment).
  • Minimum one-year experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Food Handlers Card (obtainable within 30 days of employment).
  • Knowledge and experience caring for and interacting with elders.
  • Ability to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination (preferred but not required).
