As a key member of our banking team, you will be responsible for managing intricate commercial banking activities and nurturing banking relationships with both current and prospective clients.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth interviews with clients to gather essential information for commercial loan applications, including:
- Analyzing financial data to ensure optimal loan structuring for presentations to the loan committee.
- Implementing a proactive calling strategy to engage new and existing clients.
- Supporting colleagues in government lending initiatives.
- Participating in community events to enhance the bank's reputation.
- Review and finalize loan documentation to provide sound recommendations.
- Manage complex accounts while offering guidance and training to junior bankers.
- Engage in various business development activities to uncover potential banking prospects.
- Ensure adherence to loan policies and assist in the development and refinement of these policies.
- Collaborate with clients to tailor Treasury Management services to their specific needs.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues effectively.
- Evaluate Collateral Protection Reports and determine necessary actions.
- Monitor and document the performance of the loan portfolio through site visits and financial reviews.
- Provide mentorship to less experienced Commercial Bankers based on your expertise.
- Reach out to clients with overdue loans.
- Foster positive relationships with bank personnel, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed.
This role involves operating various devices and equipment, with travel to meet clients and inspect projects. It requires manual dexterity for tasks such as typing and data entry. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting is required, along with over ten years of specialized lending experience.
