Safety and Infrastructure Specialist

We are looking for a skilled Safety and Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at the City of Pharr.
This full-time position comes with a competitive annual salary of $30,300.00.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Troubleshooting malfunctions in traffic signals and ensuring they operate optimally.
- Conducting systematic inspections of traffic control devices and identifying areas for improvement.
- Repairing, cleaning, and replacing traffic control signs, as well as striping pavement markings for clear communication to drivers.
To succeed in this role, you should have a solid understanding of electrical systems and experience working with street marking machines and equipment.
A knowledge of circuit boards, processor chips, and electronic equipment is also necessary, along with competency in computer hardware, software, and programming.
