Job Summary

The Behavior Analyst Intern at ACES plays a vital role in elevating the standards of Autism treatment by developing their skills to a supervisory level while providing effective ABA therapy services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement ABA programs to decrease maladaptive behaviors and increase social, communication, and adaptive skills in clients with Autism Spectrum Disorders and/or other special needs.
  • Engage in educational, training, assessment, and in-field application activities to prepare for a supervisory position at ACES.
  • Perform direct intervention services in various settings, including home, school, community, and clinic environments.
  • Collect and graph data daily, maintaining accurate and organized client records.
  • Communicate effectively with Supervisors and colleagues regarding program implementation and client progress.
  • Attend mandatory meetings, training, and certifications as scheduled.
  • Adhere to ACES policies and procedures, including those outlined in the employee handbook.
Requirements
  • Minimum enrollment in a MA or BCaBA program; MA degree and/or BCaBA preferred.
  • Experience working with clients with Autism Spectrum Disorder or other special needs.
  • Background check clearance, up-to-date immunizations, and CPR certification may be required.
  • Valid driver's license and/or reliable transportation.
  • Comfortable working in various environments and possessing strong organizational and communication skills.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force and lift/move up to 25 pounds.
  • Direct work with clients may involve sitting, kneeling, squatting, running, twisting, and turning, as well as frequent physical transitions.
