Position Details

Key Responsibilities

The Housekeeping Supervisor will:

  • Oversee and participate in the sanitation and safety of the facility, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.
  • Assign cleaning tasks and prioritize duties based on occupancy and urgent requests, while maintaining accurate records.
  • Ensure the security of keys and respond promptly to customer inquiries and concerns.
  • Inspect work areas and staff performance, providing feedback and corrective actions as necessary.
  • Report maintenance needs and unsafe conditions to management.
  • Manage team productivity and breaks, addressing performance issues as they arise.
  • Assist in training new team members and conducting daily briefings.
  • Demonstrate proper use of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies and manage ordering in line with budgetary constraints.
  • Open and close the department, ensuring security of all assets.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, staff, and other departments.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
