We are seeking a highly skilled Senior GIS Analyst to join our dynamic team at Stantec. As a key member of our Energy & Resources business, you will play a critical role in providing GIS services to external and internal clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with project teams to determine the optimal approach for using geospatial technologies to meet client needs.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, and budget, and coordinate multiple supporting GIS resources.
  • Develop and configure dynamic and impactful GIS solutions leveraging the GIS platform and associated applications.
  • Produce concise, clear, and compelling cartographic output with a keen eye for aesthetics.
  • Balance creativity with adherence to established Stantec GIS standards and best practices.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of foundational GIS principles and skills.
  • Solid foundation in coordinate system projections and transformations.
  • Proficient in both vector and raster data management and analysis techniques.
  • Strong cartographic skills for both desktop and web-based maps.
  • GIS-CAD data interoperability and integration skills.
  • Proficient with Esri ArcGIS Pro.
  • Intermediate to advanced in ArcGIS Online and/or ArcGIS Enterprise/Portal.
