Position Overview

The Wolfeboro Children's Center is on the lookout for a dedicated Infant Teacher responsible for nurturing and guiding children aged 6 weeks to 18 months. This full-time role encompasses up to 40 hours weekly and includes comprehensive center benefits. The selected candidate will report directly to the Infant/Toddler Coordinator and collaborate closely with the Infant and Toddler team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct supervision and attentive care for infants.
  • Collaborate effectively with fellow Infant team members.
  • Understand and promote infant development through a nurturing, safe, and clean environment.
  • Engage with families to ensure the best care and address their needs.
  • Facilitate age-appropriate learning activities and maintain open communication with families.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities and staff meetings.
  • Encourage involvement in community strengthening activities, although not mandatory.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of two years of relevant experience in early childhood education and meet state qualifications for an ECE Infant Teacher. An Associate's degree is preferred, along with at least 9 ECE credits.
