Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced HVAC Engineer to contribute to our team's success. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with a focus on HVAC design and systems.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to engineering designs for Science & Technology, Academic, and Hospitality building projects.
  • Utilize Revit to produce drawings for ductwork, water side distribution systems, and equipment as required.
  • Ensure tasks are complete, accurate, and in accordance with good engineering practice.
  • Research equipment selections and perform related calculations regarding airflow and water systems.
  • Knowledge and experience with calculations, equipment selection, ductwork layout, piping layout, and construction documents.
  • Experience with CFD modeling is a plus.
  • Attend field visits, meet with clients and vendors as necessary.
  • General coordination of specific design aspects into a project.
  • Mentor junior engineers or interns.
  • Opportunity to grow into leadership role.
  • Work closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects, mechanical, electrical, etc.
Requirements
  • Bachelor or Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering Required.
  • Professional commitment to sustainability is highly preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience.
  • Proficient in computer use and software's including, but not limited to; AutoCAD, Revit, Excel, Word, Bluebeam.
  • Strong communication skills required.
  • Willingness to pursue a PE license.
